This tool allows users to collaborate with with others users to create documents. Work can be published as a web page or as a print-ready manuscript. This tool also allows uses to control who sees their work online.
Benefits of Tool or App
Some of the benefits of this tool are that only the internet is required to use the tool. It doesn't take up a lot of room on a computer because it stores all the work on the cloud. It gives the user a place to store work without a flash drive. This tool allows the user to access their work from any device that has the internet. Google Docs works with multiple operating systems. The tool also offers tons of storage space so there is not risk of overloading it with data.
Constraints of Tool or App
Even though it is one of the benefits it also a constraint of the tool that the user can only access their work via the internet. If the user is on a device that cannot access the internet then there is no way to gain the ability to use the document. Google docs also doesn't have as many formatting options as Word. Users are unable to load pictures into a folder. The only way to load a picture is directly into the document. There are some concerns with security of the documents made with Google Docs. It will also mess with the basic formatting of a document that is uploaded if it was not created using the tool.

To use Google Docs:
1. Go to: doc.google.com
2. Create an account or sign in with your gmail
3.Then click on new to create a new document (document, presentation, spreadsheet, etc)
4. A new blank document will open (looks very similar to Word)
5. Type
6. Save as needed
7. Share with others as needed
8. Document will be stored to use as needed
